Finance for Non-Financial Managers
A program which helps you to understand and use accounting terms and methods. The purpose is to enhance your skill in understanding the company’s financial reports, key ratios, financial control and cost accounting.
For whom?
The program is aimed at managers and leaders who have, or soon will have, financial responsibility and who feel the need to supplement their knowledge and experience with better insight into fundamental accounting in order to be succesful and profitable.
We have no formal academic qualification requirements, but a number of years experience as a manager or leader is a pre-requisite in order to participate.
Description
The program rests upon an academic foundation and is led by experienced and competent teachers from Stockholm School of Economics. Through theoretical and practical steps, you gain knowledge in:
• financial accounting
• financial analysis
• cost accounting
• budgeting and financial control
• terms within business administration, and how these are related
At the end of the program you have the opportunity to apply your newly acquired skills on a real problem/opportunity within your own organisation.
